Phone lock configuration for Incoming calls

Last Updated : Apr 17, 2026 |
Prolog information
With the Block Incoming Calls feature, you can restrict users from answering incoming calls when the phone is locked. To enable, set the PHONE_LOCK_BLOCK_INCOMING_CALLS parameter to 1. By default, these parameters are set to 0 (Disabled).
When PHONE_LOCK_BLOCK_INCOMING_CALLS is enabled, the following behaviors apply to the incoming calls on a locked phone:
  • The phone does not display an incoming call popup. Instead, the phone plays an alert tone, and the beacon LED flashes to indicate an incoming call.
  • Any custom ringtone set for specific contacts defaults to the generic ringtone.
  • Missed calls are logged in the Recents application with a missed call icon.
  • The call appearance buttons do not display caller details. Instead, the phone displays Phone is locked message in place of the caller information.
You can use one of the following to configure the Block Incoming Calls feature:
  • 46xxsettings.txt file
  • The web interface
When the phone is unlocked, the incoming call popup displays caller details, enabling users to answer the call as usual.
