With the Enterprise directory, the user can perform an enterprise search for contacts from the Avaya Aura® Device Services (AADS). When you configure the Enterprise directory for a user, the phone displays the directory in the Contacts application as a contacts search source.
Users can select the Enterprise directory as a contacts search source. When enabled, the name of the search source changes from System contacts to Enterprise directory.
You can use the web interface and the 46xxsettings.txt to configure the parameters and enable the Enterprise directory.
