Prolog information
You can provide the users with the required help information on the phone for the Single sign-on (SSO) feature. The phone screen displays the Help soft key during the SSO Login process. The user can press the Help soft key to understand the login progress and continue logging in. You can provide specific help information to facilitate the user action during the log in process. You can customize the help information using the 46xxsettings.txt file or Avaya Aura® Device Services (AADS). If you do not provide any help information, the phone displays the default Help information to the users.
The following are the default Help information texts for the SSO feature:
  • When the user presses the Help soft key on the Single sign-on screen, the default help information is the following: Your phone is configured to login using your company credentials. When prompted, press 'Login' to start this process.
  • When the user presses the Help soft key on the Single sign-on screen that displays the QR code, the default help information is the following: To complete the Single Sign On process, scan the QR code using your mobile device or open the 'Link' in your browser.
  • When the user presses the Help soft key on the Single sign-on screen that displays the Link, the default help information is the following: To complete the Single Sign On process, open the Link in your browser or scan the 'QR code' using your mobile device.
Note:
The phone does not translate the customized help text if the user changes the display language from English.
