Users connect to the corporate Wi-Fi with their laptops, so the SSID is reserved for ToIP for security reasons to prevent users from connecting to the Wi-Fi networking with their laptops.
You can provide the user access to a hidden Wi-Fi network.
Use the 46xxsettings.txt file, AADS server, or the phone web interface to configure access.
Note:
Only one hidden Wi-Fi network is supported.
The hidden Wi-Fi feature is only available on the Avaya J159 IP Phone, Avaya J179 IP Phone, and Avaya J189 IP Phone.
