Enabling caller ID from an LDAP server

You can enable the feature to display the caller information for incoming, outgoing, or both calls from the LDAP directory. Configure the LDAP server with the required settings, such as DIRENABLED_PLATFORM, DIRNUMBER_FIELDS, and DIRSRVR.
You can use one of the following to configure the parameters and enable the caller ID display:
  • 46xxsettings.txt file
  • Avaya Aura® Device Services (AADS)
  • The phone web interface
Avaya J129 IP Phone does not support enabling caller ID from an LDAP server.
