With the Call on off-hook feature, users can make a call directly without pressing the Call soft key. Users can select the number they want to call on the phone screen and go off-hook to call. They can use this feature on any phone screen that displays the Call soft key.

You can activate the Call on off-hook feature using the 46xxsettings.txt file or the phone web interface. You can also provide the user access to enable or disable the Call on off-hook feature from the phone.

When you enable the Call on off-hook feature, the phone disables the Edit dialing from call log feature.

Avaya J129 IP Phone does not support Call on off-hook feature.
