With the Always Favorites on Button Module feature, you can automatically mark all buttons configured in Avaya Aura® System Manager (SMGR) as favorite. A button module displays buttons marked as favorite. When you enable this feature, you cannot remove the favorite flag of a system button that you configured to be on the button module.
When the phone receives a button list from Personal Profile Manager, including at least one configured system button with a button location more than 24, the phone automatically marks the buttons as favorite.
When the button location is more than 24:
  • If a Contact or Application occupies the button, the phone removes Contact or Application.
  • If another SMGR defined button occupies it, the phone adds the button to the next available empty line key.
You can enable the feature in 46xxsettings.txt or use web UI. The phone applies new settings after log out or reboot.
