Use the phone Administration menu to reset the web UI password. The web UI password is reset to its default value of 27238.
The ADMIN_PASSWORD parameter controls the phone Administration menu. For more details about the ADMIN_PASSWORD parameter, see the description in List of configuration parameters.
PREREQUISITE
Obtain the phone Administration menu password.
  1. On the phone, go to Main Menu > Administration.
  2. In the Access code field, enter the administration password.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The default access code is 27238.
  3. Scroll to Web server and press Select.
  4. Scroll to Reset Web password and press Select.
  5. On the Reset to default? prompt, press Reset.
