Enabling the display of caller ID from LDAP using the web interface

Use the web interface of the phone to enable the display of caller ID for incoming, outgoing, or both calls from the LDAP directory.
  1. Log in to the web interface.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Settings.
  3. In the Alerting on calls area, under LDAP lookup for Caller ID, click one of the following:
    • Incoming call: To enable the display of caller ID for an incoming call from the LDAP directory.
    • Outgoing call: To enable the display of caller ID for an outgoing call from the LDAP directory.
    • Incoming & Outgoing call: To enable the display of caller ID for incoming and outgoing calls from the LDAP directory.
  4. In the LDAP lookup Attributes field, enter the LDAP attribute and display label.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The phone displays the configured attributes as the additional information on the call screen. The value is a comma-separated string. The following is the format:[LDAP ATTRIBUTE 1]=[LABEL 1],[LDAP ATTRIBUTE 2]=[LABEL 2]The default value is empty.
  5. In the LDAP Display Name Attribute field, enter the value of the LDAP attribute.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The phone displays the LDAP attribute value as the name in the caller information. The default value is empty.
  6. Click Save.
