The phone is programmed to trust various well-known Public CA providers. For a detailed list of built-in public CA certificates, see Public CA Certificates.
Configure the ENABLE_PUBLIC_CA_CERTS parameter to enable the phones to use the embedded public CA certificates during the validation of the server certificates.
ENABLE_PUBLIC_CA_CERTS is automatically enabled when DES redirects the phone to a provisioning server that uses a public CA.
Note:
When connecting to Avaya DES (http://des.avaya.com) or Avaya Spaces (http://spacesapis.avayacloud.com), the phone ignores the ENABLE_PUBLIC_CA_CERTS configuration and always uses the built-in public CA certificates.
