Integrate the Avaya J100 Series IP Phones, except for the Avaya J129 IP Phone, with the Microsoft® Exchange account to synchronize the user calendar events and to enable user Exchange contacts search. You can configure the settings for the users or provide users with access to enter the Exchange and authentication values.

For user authentication, you can configure the basic or the OAuth authentication method. If you configure a forced authentication method, the users cannot change the authentication method or modify the Exchange server address. For OAuth authentication, the phone displays a QR code that the users can scan using a mobile device. Alternatively, the users can create an authentication URL and open it on a web browser. After a successful authentication, the user Exchange calendar and contacts synchronize with the phone. Use one of the following sources to configure Exchange integration with the phone:
