Prolog information
With Team button feature, at the monitoring station, you can do the following:
  • View the state of a monitored station.
  • View all calls that ring on the monitored station and selectively answer any.
  • Speed dial, that is, place a call, to the monitored station.
  • View the call redirection of the monitored phones.
  • Override the call redirection feature that includes SAC, CFWD, or ECF to ensure that a call rings on the monitored phone.
  • Configure the audible ringing and visual alert indication.
To override call redirection, you must configure the monitored phone on Avaya Aura® System Manager.

Monitoring Station

The station which is used to monitor the state of another station. This is the station that displays the Team button.

Monitored Station

The station whose state is being monitored.
Note:
The number of monitored stations that a monitoring station can monitor is limited to a maximum of 15. In effect, the maximum number of team buttons in a system is 15, that is, each monitoring station can supervise and work on a maximum of 15 monitored stations.
