Security event logging

The phone maintains audit logs for the following events:
  • Successful and failed login attempts.
  • Username lockouts.
  • Registration and authorization attempts by users and administrators.

Temporary data

The phone deletes any temporary storage data from the application, variables, cache, main memory, registers, and stack. Configure the ENABLE_GDPR_MODE parameter to enable the privacy mode. For more information about the privacy mode, see Chapter 11: Data Privacy Controls Addendum.

IP information

Users can optionally view the phone network configuration details. Configure the PROVIDE_NETWORKINFO_SCREEN parameter to enable or restrict users from viewing the network configuration.

Administration menu

The phone Administration menu provides access to specific administrative procedures. Change the default administration password to restrict users from modifying the phone configuration. Configure the ADMIN_PASSWORD parameter to set a new administration password.
