When you configure the AADS contact URL from the web interface, the phone obtains contacts from AADS, and thus, you can enable the user to perform the enterprise search for contacts.
PREREQUISITE
Ensure that you configure the Avaya Aura® Device Services URL to display the AADS contact URL option in the web interface.
  1. Log in to the web interface.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Settings.
  3. Expand the Contacts tab.
  4. In AADS Contact URL, enter the URL.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can enter 0-255 ASCII characters without space. The data type is String. The URL is an HTTPS protocol. For example:https://example.com:443/acs/resources/configurations
    The default value is empty.
  5. Click Save.
