Prolog information
The boot logs record the phone event status messages during boot-up, such as network configuration, network connectivity, phone provisioning, and SIP registration. The phone report includes the boot logs.
During boot-up, the phone captures the boot logs with default logging. These logs include the reason for the phone boot-up.
The boot logs contain the status messages in a list view with corresponding icons indicating success (), failure (), or information (). You can view the details of each status message and troubleshoot the phone.
The phone records the boot events until it automatically logs on to the SIP account or displays the login screen.
Avaya J129 IP Phone does not support viewing the boot logs through the Administration menu.
Note:
The boot logs do not capture any personal data.
